Now that the new tower containing the witch farm is built I’ve started adding a few upgrades. Sometimes you need to check inside the trident chamber to make sure everything is functioning correctly. Plus this has the added benefit of being able to see the witches getting knocked around and throwing their potions at each other which is hilarious to my kids.
How the build functions
It’s a pretty simple build to add this to the tower. The first version used to levers to open the wood blocks under the glass. The version shown in the video below uses a pressure plate to turn off a redstone torch that keeps the pistons extended. With this setup the window stays closed when not in use and only opens if you are on the pressure plate. If the window gets left open the light level in the spawning chamber is higher and that reduces (or even stops) the witch spawn rate.
