Hello and Welcome! Writing about Minecraft is much easier than writing about myself but I’ll do my best and perhaps can improve as we go along. I started this blog to share information about builds and ideas in Minecraft. I had played Java edition but took a break when my daughter was born and then the break continued when my son was born. When my daughter turned 5 we bought her a kids tablet and I noticed Minecraft Pocket Edition had quite a few new features since the last time I had looked at it. We began to play that together and eventually it became a fun pastime for us to hop on a world together and build something she had thought up.

When my son was 4 this became part of our game time together and we began to build more complex designs and really got into challenging ourselves with builds in survival mode. With Minecraft on our Xbox, tablets, and PC it became pretty easy to share gaming time together. When the schools closed due to the pandemic we began using Minecraft as part of teaching as well. That’s when the idea for sharing what we have been doing came up. Many people seem to be looking for more engaging ways to play with their kids and also find ways to help them learn at the same time.

That is going to be the goal for this site and our video channel. I hope the information and build ideas will come in useful for everyone playing whether it is just to get some design ideas to build on your own or if you are looking to build a large scale kingdom in Minecraft with your children or a group of friends.
